Smruti-Tarang
As it is customary these days, I was purchasing something on Amazon. I selected the item and attempted to place an order. And the result was a joke. A message flashed on the computer screen that they were unable to supply the item at this address. It further suggested either changing the item or changing the address. How can I change the address during this lockdown period due to a pandemic?
After the cognitive process, I realized that this was not my genuine address. Pusesavali, being my birthplace, was my initial address. It was Karad or Sangli when I was studying. While working, the address used to be Walchandnagar; and until four months ago, it was Lake Town Society. However, these are all temporary addresses! We have forgotten to search our eternal address, that is our real home!
As I lay in bed at night, the thought cycle began in my mind. The seventy-three years that had passed, started circulating like a movie in front of my eyes. And then it dawned on me that my life was not 'all that ordinary'. I have, surely, made great contributions; I have also come across some great personalities and lived a full life. What if I jotted down everything? A lot of time is available to me, anyway. Isn't it better than to keep on thinking of Corona and getting depressed? That's the reason I ventured into writing and the outcome is this book!

Texas Ingenuity
Imagination is bigger in Texas, too. This collection of inspiring and often quirky stories highlights dozens of examples of innovation from Lone Star history. The Hamill brothers devised a better oil well to reach gushers at Spindletop. The first Neiman-Marcus store opened in Dallas in 1907, revolutionizing the retail fashion world. Astroturf emerged at the Astrodome in 1966. Fritos and corn dogs are just two ubiquitous snack foods claimed as Texan originals. Houston native, and civil rights activist, Congresswoman Barbara Jordan rose to national prominence as a voice of unity during the Watergate scandal. Author Alan C. Elliott details these and many more lessons in success in Texas Ingenuity.

My Inventions
2011 Reprint of 1919 Edition. Published in six parts 1919 in the "Electrical Experimenter" Magazine. "My Inventions" is Telsa's autobiographical legacy. Long out of print, "My Inventions" reveals how a relentless photographic memory and runaway imagination almost fatally cursed his childhood in Yugoslavia. Tesla tells how he willfully harnessed his visions to invention, yet never outgrew his many bizarre childhood fears and compulsions. This is the famous story of Tesla's Faustian quest for the electric motor the experts said could never be built-a quest deep into his own unconscious mind that nearly cost him his life.

Now a Netflix Film, Starring and Directed by Chiwetel Ejiofor of 12 Years a SlaveWilliam Kamkwamba was born in Malawi, a country where magic ruled and modern science was mystery. His neighbors called him misala--crazy--but William refused to let go of his dreams. With a small pile of once-forgotten science textbooks; some scrap metal, tractor parts, and bicycle halves; and an armory of curiosity and determination, he embarked on a daring plan to forge an unlikely contraption and small miracle that would change the lives around him.The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind is a remarkable true story about human inventiveness and its power to overcome crippling adversity. It will inspire anyone who doubts the power of one individual's ability to change his community and better the lives of those around him.
