Hubertus Huber, hat sich gefragt, kann Gott (der Heilige Geist) sich irren? Wenn Gott irrt, ist er nicht Gott. Er ändert nie seine Entschlüsse. Irren können nur die Menschen. Hubertus Huber verfasste einige Schriften, in denen er dieses Thema behandelte. Bald stand er mit seinen abwegigen Gedanken alleine. In dieser Situation bat er Gott um Hilfe. Er versprach, alles zu verbrennen, wenn er keinen Beweis, für die Richtigkeit seiner Schriften findet. Einige Tage später traf er einen Priester, der ihm sagte, sie haben ein wichtiges Argument übersehen und er brachte ihm einen Kalender mit dem Krönungseid der Päpste. Der Krönungseid ist ein Vertrag zwischen Christus und Seinem Stellvertreter. Nach diesem Vertrag, führt jede Änderung in der Lehre, der Riten und der Tradition, zum Bann bzw. Exkommunikation.Diese Strafe traf 1965, 2.400 Bischöfe, die im Konzil, gegen die Lehre der Kirche, gestimmt hatten. Um den Bann der Bischöfe zu vertuschen, wurde der Krönungseid unterschlagen und aus der Lehre gestrichen. Heute ist er bei Theologen und Hochschulen unbekannt. Die Unterschlagung war ein Angriff auf Gott und Seine Lehre.Für Hubertus Huber war die wundersame Führung, zum Krönungseid der Päpste, der erbetene Beweis für die Richtigkeit, seiner Schriften. Dabei sollen die relevanten Eckpunkte dieser, die 1960er Jahre bestimmenden Bewegung dargestellt werden. Wie kam es zur Bewegung der 68er, welche Ereignisse waren elementar für den Verlauf und wer waren die zentralen Akteure?Der zweite Teil der Arbeit stellt den Autor Uwe Timm und das Werk "Heißer Sommer" in den Mittelpunkt der Auseinandersetzung. Dabei stehen Analyse der Struktur und die Entwicklung zentraler Figuren im Laufe dessen im Mittelpunkt. Im Anschluss daran wird diskutiert, wie Uwe Timm die 68er, zentrale Konfliktlinien und historische Ereig-nisse thematisiert und auch bewertet. Daraus hervor geht die abschließende Frage, ob Uwe Timm mit "Heißer Sommer" einen 68er-Roman, oder doch einen kritischen Beitrag zur Studentenbewegung der 60er Jahre verfasst hat.

Ein besonderes Augenmerk gilt dabei dem zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch sehr jungen Universitätsstandort Bochum und seiner Umgebung, dem Ruhrgebiet. Das erste Kapitel möchte dabei zunächst einen Überblick über politische, soziale und allgemein ideologische Vorstellungen der so genannten "68er-Generation" geben. In einem zweiten Schritt geht es auf bedeutsame Ereignisse rund um den Höhepunkt der Studentenbewegung in Deutschland in den Jahren 1967-1969 ein, beispielsweise auf die Attentate auf Benno Ohnesorg und Rudi Dutschke. Im zweiten Kapitel soll dann untersucht werden, zu welchen Vorkommnissen es im Rahmen der 68er-Bewegung in Bochum kam. Abschnitt 2.1 beschäftigt sich dabei mit Protesten, Demonstrationen, etc. an der damals gerade neu gegründeten Ruhr-Universität. Der Abschnitt 2.2 beschreibt, was an anderen Orten im Ruhrgebiet geschah. So sind etwa der legendäre Besuch von Rudi Dutschke in Wattenscheid, die Blockaden des Springer-Hauses in Essen oder die Essener Songtage von besonderem Interesse.Kommt den ersten beiden Kapiteln also eine eher deskriptive Funktion zu, so soll Kapitel Drei Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten zwischen den Studentenbewegungen in Bochum und an anderen Universitätsstandorten in Deutschland analysieren. Im Abschnitt 3.1 sollen diese Übereinstimmungen und Differenzen aufgezählt, im Unterkapitel 3.2 dann nach ihren Ursachen geforscht werden.
