"Sokunge/As if ". "Sokunge", is a Shona word that describes phenomena that is intrinsically something else other than their appearance. More like deception or dissimulation of form, concept, or sound. In this exhibition, I was looking at forms that appear as something, but upon a closer look, they reference a lot of other things, more like below the surface politics. That is the relationship between hidden and exposed transcripts, it is the subtext, the micro politics. There's a lot of mingling of symbolism in the work itself and layered aesthetics.

"nicht begonnenes fortsetzen" ist ein korpuspoetisches Projekt und beschäftigt sich u.a. mit der Poetik der Textkontur. Gesammelte Texte und Aufzeichnungen eines Zeitabschnitts werden in einen Dialog mit Klappdrucken gebracht, die deren Textumriss, aber auch Dichte bzw. Flächigkeit vorgeben. Durch weitere Manipulationen und Umgestaltungen der Textkörper finden nicht nur sichtbare Veränderungen der ursprünglichen Textsemantiken statt. Das Verfahren ermöglicht es zudem, ursprünglich kleinere, unabhängige Einheiten miteinander in Verbindung zu bringen und zu grösseren, assoziativen Textgebilden bzw. metrisierten Erinnerungsgeweben zu verdichten. Die Arbeit soll für die Ästhetik und Semantik des Umrisses sensibilisieren und ist ein eposartiges, fliessendes Textambiente an der Schnittstelle von Konzeptliteratur, Bildender Kunst und Konkreter Poesie.
