Context and time largely determine the work of Berlin-based Swiss artist Dunja Herzog. With strong connections to Africa since childhood days, she has had repeated extensive stays in Cameroon, Nigeria, and South Africa over the past two decades. Naturally, Herzog's art explores various cultural concepts. She constantly questions the concept of authorship and examines artistic attitudes from different perspectives. Equally important to her art is her fascination with materials and craftsmanship as well as a deep interest in social conditions and the streams of finance between Global North and South. This first monograph on Dunja Herzog offers a survey of her work since 2004. It highlights the key role that the materials she uses for her sculpture play as carriers of history, and how essential collaborations are in her creative process. The essays and illustrations demonstrate the evolution of Herzog's art over time and in various contexts, and reveal the possibilities for further development it bears.

Aldo Mozzini. Casematte is the first major book on the work of Swiss artist Aldo Mozzini. Published in conjunction with an exhibition at Museo Casa Rusca in Locarno, Switzerland, it features his energetic art through more than 300 illustrations along with texts by distinguished Swiss curators. A conversation with the artist rounds off the volume, which highlights Mozzini's contribution to the contemporary art scene in Switzerland. Born in Locarno in 1956, Aldo Mozzini has lived and worked in Zurich since the 1980s. Galleries and museums in Switzerland, Italy, and France have shown his works in solo and group exhibitions, and he has won the Swiss Art Award twice, in 2012 and 2019. His oeuvre comprises drawing, painting, objects, photography, sculpture, and installation, moving restlessly from one form of expression to another. The book reviews 40 years of Mozzini's career and explores various aspects of his humorous and poetic art. The impressive body of his paintings and graphic works is closely linked to the sculptures and installations that remain Aldo Mozzini's preferred media.

The artist Mau Mau has a body of work which stretches back to the 1990s. His street art has chronicled the evolving nature of UK counter-culture and larger world themes which have impacted it. Talking Out of My Art is a chronological journey through Mau Mau's artwork. It begins with his Devon surfing roots and follows his development as a street artist, honing his skills in London, to exhibiting around the world. His street pieces are always memorable. Part of Mau Mau's enduring popularity is his ability to simplify complex themes with a quick phrase and the use of characters such as his most well-known creation, Mau Fox. Aside from walls, barns, boats and an array of other interesting places to paint, Mau Mau's work has appeared on prints, canvases, magazines, clothing and record covers and in exhibition spaces for over 25 years. This book captures the images, but it also gives a unique glimpse behind the scenes. Talking Out of My Art provides insights into how one of the UK's most iconic street artists produces his work.

Der Kunstband "Zauber des Lichts" gibt einen sehr persönlichen Einblick in das Schaffen des Künstlers Ludger Hinse. Er stellt erstmals zwei seiner Arbeitsbereiche gegenüber: Einerseits die farbigen Malereien und Aquarelle, in denen er intuitiv den Zauber und die Schönheit der Natur zu erfassen sucht. Und andererseits seine konstruktiven kinetischen Installationen und Objekte, die ihrerseits einen Farbenzauber entfalten.

Das von dem Künstler:innenduo Irena Eden & Stijn Lernout realisierte Projekt Common Grounds stellte Fragen zum gesellschaftlichen Miteinander im urbanen Kontext und verhandelte sie - diskursiv und performativ - im öffentlichen Raum. Jeder Ort, jeder Abend thematisierte einen Begriff: WIDERSTAND, NÄHE, ANGST, VERÄNDERUNG, FRAGILITÄT, SOLIDARITÄT, KOOPERATION, UMRAUM / WOHNEN und UNTERWEGSSEIN. 25 stapelbare Schemel und eine mobile Garküche dienten als Setting. Die Veranstaltungen zogen eine Spur durch die neun Wiener Außenbezirke, um sich jeweils für einen Abend an einem öffentlichen Ort niederzulassen: Künstlerische bzw. wissenschaftliche Beiträge zu den genannten Begriffen eröffneten den Abend, im Anschluss wurde ein einfaches Essen aus der Garküche gereicht. Das Projekt schaffte einen Rahmen, in dem das aktive Ineinandergreifen verschiedener Bereiche einen Prozess des Austauschs in Gang setzte. Kunst, Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft fanden in einem nicht hierarchischen Dialog zueinander. Die Publikation umfasst neben der Dokumentation der einzelnen Veranstaltungen mit ihren künstlerischen und wissenschaftlichen Beiträgen eine Einführung von Anne Faucheret in das Thema und die künstlerische Praxis des Duos.Kooperationen mit Thomas Arzt, Miriam Bajtala, Hanna Binder, Virginie Canoine, Iris Dittler, Christiane Feuerstein und Simon Andreas Güntner, Niki Kubaczek, Elisabeth Oberzaucher sowie dem Kollektiv Weiter (Alexandra Pâzgru, Florian Kmet, Roman Blumenschein).
