Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich Didaktik für das Fach Deutsch - Deutsch als Fremdsprache, DaF, Note: 2,7, Universität Bielefeld, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: "Biologie wird im 21. Jahrhundert den heutigen Rang von Chemie und Physik einnehmen" - hatte einmal der amerikanische Prognostiker John Naisbitt gesagt. Und tatsächlich ist heutzutage Biologie ein wichtiger Bestandteil unseres Lebens. Die Teildisziplin Ökologie zum Beispiel spielt heute eine wichtige Rolle. Das Ziel dieser Hausarbeit ist es, anhand von ökologischen Textauszügen herauszufinden wie komplex die Fachsprache Ökologie in einer Zeitschrift ist. Die Fragestellung dieser Hausarbeit lautet: Ist die ökologische Fachzeitschrift lexikalisch, syntaktisch und auf der Textebene wirklich viel komplexer als Schulbücher oder das Taschenlehrbuch? Haben die ökologischen Textauszüge viele Gemeinsamkeiten oder weisen sie mehr Unterschiede auf? Aus diesem Grund erscheint mir ein Vergleich unterschiedlicher ökologischer Texte als sinnvoll, um diese Fragen beantworten zu können. Zuerst stelle ich kurz die Fachsprache Ökologie, ihre Entwicklung und Geschichte sowie die besonderen Merkmale vor. Des Weiteren wird die Fachsprache Ökologie im Biologie-unterricht kurz dargestellt. Daraufhin folgt die Vorstellung des Untersuchungsmaterials, die die Schulbücher Biologie GN Ökologie (BÖ), Grüne Reihe Ökologie (Grüne Reihe), das Taschenlehrbuch Ökologie (Taschenlehrbuch) und die Biologie-Zeitschrift Biologie in unserer Zeit (BIUZ) einschließt. Im nächsten Kapitel werden zunächst die Auszüge aus BÖ, Grüne Reihe und dem Taschenlehrbuch auf drei sprachlichen Ebenen (Lexik, Syntax und Text) miteinander verglichen. Um einen besseren und nachvollziehbaren Vergleich zu erzielen, sind alle Ausschnitte thematisch aufeinander abgestimmt. In den Textausschnitten, die vom Ökosystem See handeln, werden Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede aufgezeigt. Nach diesem Vergleich wird auch die Zeitschrift BIUZ auf der lexikalischen, syntaktischen und textuellen Ebene untersucht, wobei hier ebenfalls die vorherigen Auszüge zum Vergleich herangezogen werden.Da der Umfang dieser Hausarbeit begrenzt ist, konzentriere ich mich bei der Beschäftigung mit der Fachsprache Ökologie auf die mir am wichtigsten erscheinenden und die auffälligen Merkmale. Am Ende wird eine Zusammenfassung die Ergebnisse des Vergleichs in kurzer Form wiedergeben und die gestellten Fragen und Annahmen bestätigen oder verwerfen.
