She holds a degree in Applied Food Science and Nutrition and had worked on recipe testing and recipe development for over twenty five years. Maria led culinary master classes and workshops across Canada and internationally with particular focus on special health requirements. She has written and published several books on culinary topics in different languages. Maria is passionate about her heritage and has a particular interest in food history and eating traditions.
