Impact of Specific Fitness Training Programme on selected Skills and Performances of Footballers
Problem statement: The purpose of the study is to see Effect of Specific Fitness training programme on selected Physical Fitness, biomechanical variables of selected skills and performance of footballers. Approach: For this study, the researcher has purposively selected 40 football players from Gurugram District. Two groups were made one Experimental and another Control group each consisting of 20 participants. The selection of the participants in both the groups were done by random sampling technique. The Age of the participants were between 13 to 16 years. The experimental group was exposed to 12 weeks specific fitness training program along with their normal physical activity classes in the school. The control group continued with their normal physical activity classes in the school practice. Purpose: The study was to see the effects of specific physical fitness training programme on selected physical fitness variables of junior footballers.
