When Audrey discovered through a routine hearing exam that her cherub-like toddler was autistic, her life was forever changed. In this book she shares stories of being a parent, wife, mother, and community leader. Her stories include starting a much needed community nonprofit organization fueled by her love of running, creating a space in the world for her son (hence her family too), and acknowledging her children as being her greatest teachers. She awakened to the fact that the way she was approaching the future was no longer working and something needed to change. Within these pages are stories of deep love, devotion and the determination to live life to the fullest despite the obstacles. This book is Audrey finding her own voice in this authentic account of her parenting journey.

Audrey is the proud mother of two wonderful children, Manisha and Keyan, and married to her high school sweetheart, Kunal. A university graduate with a major in history, Audrey has never stopped learning and is a life long student. Consequently, she is a teacher to many around her. She is the founder of S.Au.S. (Soutien Autism(e) Support), a charitable organization which started in 2009 when she married her passion for running with the love she has for her son, Keyan (a non-verbal autistic) and hosted the very first Autism Awareness Run. In December 2018 she would receive one of her highest honours when she was recognized by her country at Canada's Volunteer Awards. She has crossed the finish line to nine marathons, one being the coveted Boston Marathon. Her hope is that, by allowing you a glimpse into her life, you will learn more about autism, motherhood, growth, self-care, and the importance of following your unique calling.
