Life has a way of making you strong. It is not necessary for it to go your way, but that's okay. Because in the end, you carve your own path to your destiny.For a baby born in a third-world country, I, Sonia Domarasky, was lucky enough to be adopted by an angel sent from God himself.My mother-the angel who nurtured me, cared for me, fought for me, and made me who I am today. She was the light of my life and everything I hope to be one day.Even though I have gone through the worst in life, from being given away by my biological father, being sexually abused, being emotionally beaten, to finally losing my angel-my light, I still faced life and its challenges head-on.Because, in the end, I did get three beautiful children-my burning stars in the dark night sky.My stars have also gone through their fair share of struggles and hardships, but who they are today, who they have become-I couldn't be prouder.But I believe this all is what made me who I am today.Through the eyes of a survivor, my story is what gave me strength, and I hope the same for those who read it.I am a proud survivor-and this is my story!
