Reflecting on the factors that have caused the change, he considers the sacramental life of the Church and the present state of liturgy in Ireland. He explores the different ways of being Catholic in a parish context and discusses clergy morale, what nourishes it and what damages it. The book concludes with possible ways of renewal for the fugure.
