Während die Volkskirchen und manch andere über Jahrzehnte als stabil geltende Institutionen erodieren, tummeln sich vielfältige alte und neue religiöse Anbieter auf dem wachsenden spirituellen Markt. In dieser gesellschaftlichen Metamorphose stehen Menschen vor der Herausforderung, ihre eigene Berufsidentität zu stabilisieren oder erst zu finden. Dies evoziert ökologisch-differentielle praktisch-theologische Forschungsbedarfe. Dazu werden hier Ergebnisse einer Interview-Studie mit Lehrerinnen und Lehrern evangelikaler Bekenntnisschulen als expressives Explorationsfeld präsentiert und vor dem Hintergrund der aktuellen Herausforderungen professionsspezifischer, spiritueller Identitätsperformanz diskutiert. In this social metamorphosis, people face the challenge of stabilizing their own professional identity, or even finding it in the first place. This evokes practical-theological research needs that are ecologically differentiated. For this purpose, this book presents the results of an interview study with teachers from Evangelical denominational schools as an expressive field of exploration and it discusses them against the background of the current challenges of profession-specific, spiritual identity performance of the present.
