Born and raised in the Land of Lincoln, Eileen and her husband now split their time between Illinois and Florida.Dave Szalay is an illustrator, teacher, and graphic designer with a deep interest in history. While researching this book, he tried to find personal details that would humanize Lincoln--like his love of cats.
