The idea of this book is very simple. Nowadays, there are many good, very comprehensive, "thick" books available on Elbow Surgery. Although they are useful to obtain discrete information about specific topics, they are too large to be a user friendly for a general orthopedic surgeon facing common elbow problems. The introduction of total joint arthroplasty throughout the world has contributed manifold benefits to patients who suffer from joint diseases. Concurrently, however, there has been an increase in revision surgery. Many orthopedic surgeons agree that durability of prostheses is an eternal problem.
