Die Sonate wurde in dieser Ausgabe nach d-Moll transponiert und für Solotrompete bearbeitet sowie mit Ausführungshinweisen versehen. Damit werden erstmals die Solowerke von Johann Sebastian Bach für Trompete zugänglich und konzertant aufführbar. Alle Sätze (1 - 4) dieser schönen Partita sind vollständig und ungekürzt von einer Solotrompete ohne Begleitung aufführbar.Am Ende der Ausgabe wurden alle Sätze zusätzlich als Trompetentrio ausgeführt, um bei Bedarf die Sätze vollständig mit allen Harmonien mit mehreren Trompeten ausführen zu können. Das ist insbesondere bei der Fuga von zentraler Bedeutung, aber auch die anderen Sätze sind durchweg mehrstimmig angelegt.

Damit werden erstmals die Solowerke von Johann Sebastian Bach für Trompete zugänglich und konzertant aufführbar. Alle Sätze (1 - 8) und Passagen dieser schönen Partita sind nun vollständig und ungekürzt von einer Solotrompete aufführbar. Am Ende der Ausgabe wurden alle Sätze als Trompetenduett gesetzt, um um eine vollständige Aufführung zu ermöglichen. Dabei kann man jedoch nicht mehr Bachs Grundprinzip erfüllen: "Sei solo". Vielmehr heist es dann "Siete in due". Auch schön, aber nicht ganz in Bachs Intention.
