But it is what happens next that baffles the museum's surveillance crew. After "the mysterious-looking couple" pulls off their prank, they and the large tourist group walk out of that particular camera's range, becoming submerged elsewhere in the interminable galleries of the gigantic museum.But when a docent notices "something strange" with Chagall's Soleil dans le Ciel de Saint-Paul, in short order, the museum-goers inside the Chagall gallery hear "High Alert!" and watch in horror as a heavy metal grille drops down from the ceiling to the floor, effectively locking them inside the gallery.Not long after word leaks about the Met's "high alert," the Met's board retains PR executive Priscilla J. "PJ" Austin-Bernhardt to avert damage to the museum's reputation. Wir starten die Reise aus unserer schwäbischenHeimatgemeinde Illingen in Württemberg bei Stuttgart.Von Stuttgart fliegen wir nach Heraklion auf die Insel Kreta.Wir übernachten in Gouves im Hotel Aphrodite Beach Club.Wir erleben auf Kreta die Top-Strände in Balos und Elafonisi,die uns in ihrem karibischen Flair zum Schwimmen einladen.Reisen Off-Road zum berühmten Kloster Moni Agia Irini undbesichtigen die geschichtsreichen Hippiehöhlen von Matala.Weiter geht es zu den historischen Ausgrabungsstätten Phaistos, wo wir viel über die Geschichte von Kreta erfahren.Danach folgt der Besuch der Aussichtsterrasse von Festos,hier genießen wir eine wunderschöne Aussicht über die Insel.Wir fahren hoch hinauf in das Lasithi Hochplateau u. erfahrenalles über dessen interessante geschichtliche Vergangenheit,wandern u. besuchen die Zeus Höhle u. lernen viel darüber. Weiter führt uns die Tour an der Stadt Agios Nikolaos vorbei,dessen schöne Strände wir sehen und fahren nach Ierapetra,um dort etwas über seine südlichen Strände zu erfahren undden Wasserfall von Molina auf Off-Road Wegen zu besuchen.Wir sehen den schönen Stausee mit Flamingos bei Bramiana.Unser letztes Ziel ist die Höhle von Milatos mit ihrer Kirche,dort erfahren wir alles über dessen grausame Vergangenheit. Letztendlich fliegen wir von Heraklion wieder in unsere schwäbische Heimat. Der Reisebericht enthält 120 Farbfotos.
